The Process
Select your entry tier (Early Bird, Standard, or Last Call) and complete your purchase. You'll receive a confirmation email with a link to the submission form and all the details you need. No need to have your artwork ready yet.
When you're ready, use your personalised submission link to upload your artwork details, images, and artist information. Submissions close 20 September.
Online finalists are announced 21 September. From those, the wall finalists are exhibited at The J, Noosa from 8 October, alongside some of Australia's best and emerging artists. Your work is also eligible for People's Choice voting.
After the exhibition closes on 29 October, artwork can be collected from The J on 30 October or from Noosa Junction for up to two weeks thereafter. Interstate artists: return shipping details will be confirmed closer to the date.

ENTERING
The Noosa Art Prize is open to all Australian artists, emerging and established. There is no age restriction.
You may enter as many works as you like. Each entry covers one artwork. Simply purchase multiple entries at checkout.
Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed media are all accepted. Digital works are considered on a case by case basis. Contact us if you are unsure.
No. The prize welcomes artists at all stages of their practice.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
Yes. That is exactly how it works. Purchase your entry, then use the submission link in your confirmation email to upload your artwork when you are ready. Submissions close 20 September.
Entry fees are non-refundable once purchased.
Yes, if you would like to gift an entry to a friend you can do so. Just send the sumission email to them and notify use at info@thenongallery.com.au.
SUBMITTING YOUR ARTWORK
You will receive a confirmation email with a personalised link to the submission form. Complete the form with your artwork details, images, and artist information before 20 September.
JPEG or PNG, minimum 2000px on the longest side, 300dpi preferred. Your submission should represent the work accurately and clearly.

THE PRIZE
The winning artwork is sold for $12,000. That sale price is the prize. The winner receives $12,000 and their work is acquired by the buyer.
Judges are announced ahead of the exhibition. Past judges have included curators, collectors, and leading figures from the Australian arts community.
The public votes for their favourite work online and in person during the exhibition. The People's Choice winner is announced at the soiree on 8th October.
THE EXHIBITION
The 2026 Noosa Art Prize exhibition is held at The J, Noosa's premier arts and cultural venue, from 8 October to 29 October.
Delivery and collection logistics will be confirmed with finalists after the announcement on 21 September. Interstate artists: options for shipping will be covered at that time.
Artwork can be collected from The J on 30 October and from 3D Pod in Noosa for a week after. Interstate artists should include a return shipping address in their submission form and we will be in touch with arrangements.
Yes. All works must be exhibition-ready on arrival. Specific hanging and presentation requirements will be confirmed with finalists.
All finalist works are available for sale during the exhibition period through The Non Gallery.
