Your photograph

If you're selected as a web finalist, this photo will be used to sell your artwork online. Quality matters.

• Use natural daylight where possible
• Shoot straight on, with the full work in frame
• Minimise glare and reflections, especially on glass
• Check the image is sharp before uploading

Your title and description

Your title and description will be printed on a card and displayed next to your artwork at the J. A good story can sell a work as much as the painting itself.

Max 150 words:

• What is the work about
• What were you thinking when you made it
• What do you want the viewer to feel or notice
• Be specific, be honest, keep it considered
