“Heart of Gold” is a painting depicting my mum, my everyday hero. Her portrait is framed by a golden heart locket, showcasing her love and warmth that I carry with me daily. Around her are pearls, gems and chains, each chosen to reflect her strength, her resilience and just how precious she is to me. This work is my way of shining a light on her and mothers like her across Australia, they deserve to be seen and celebrated.
