Sandy Bolton springs to mind immediately the word " icon " is mentioned. The title of the portrait is "Independence" as this word typifies her career and stance as a figurehead in the community. Her career includes positions of Management and Consultancy, business development, administration and social innovation of small to medium sized enterprises in the private and not for profit sectors. She has been a Director and Company Secretary, a Noosa Shire Councillor, and has been the Independent member for Noosa in the Queensland Legislative Assembly since 2017, and was Chair - Youth Justice Reform Select Committee .12 Oct 2023 - 18 Apr 2024. The strong complementary colours indicate her ability to balance the diversity that is Noosa, with wholehearted interest in  the people and the community, the environment and sustainable living, and culture. The papers indicate the hours of work Sandy devotes, with hands that show control and calm.
