About the work
Cecile Bell is Sunshine Coast artist inspired by the beauty and light of our coastal landscapes. With a background in Visual Arts, Fashion Design and Education, Cecile’s practice explores the connection between people and place through expressive, painterly landscapes, often populated by figures enjoying and connecting with these environments. Cecile's ongoing Glimpse series celebrates fleeting moments of the natural world — the coastline, flora, light and the quiet yet wonderous experiences that make the Sunshine Coast home.
