About the work
The Stars explores the invisible threads that connect all living things. Suspended beneath a celestial sky, the woman and kangaroo move as reflections of one another, dissolving the boundary between human and nature. The serpent weaves through the composition as a symbol of transformation and life’s continuous cycles, while the stars speak to ancestral wisdom, guidance and our place within the greater universe. Richly textured surfaces catch the light, inviting quiet contemplation of our belonging within the natural world.
