About the work
My work ‘Extended Light (Cobalt Violet)’, centres on the balancing of chaos and order. By manipulating the mechanics of vision through precise geometry and tonal gradients, I aim to conceptualize the sensation of a ruminating mind in flux. The painting acts as a visual catalyst—interfering with spatial planes to engage the viewers’ subconscious and evoke a deep, emotive response that bridges the gap between strict mathematical
structure and the fluid nature of human existence. Contrasting hard-edge geometric forms alongside soft, translucent, painterly gradients, infuse the static canvas with a kinetic energy, producing a reverberating hum of light, space, and colour.
