About the work

This piece came from a moment where the light did more than describe the face, it shaped it. A narrow band of warmth cuts through, pulling parts of the face into focus while others sit quietly in shadow.

Light changes what you see. The same face feels different depending on what’s illuminated and what remains in shadow.

I’m interested in that shift, how something as simple as light can alter mood, focus, and presence without changing anything else.
