About the work
There are experiences that cut into us, and we emulate these cuts. We experience this asymmetry of power; a loss of control of the only things that can make us feel. And how do we continue? How can we connect again?
I ask my brother what I am good for. I tell him I feel haunted by these pieces of my life. But I see him resting in a snow field and warm sun, and the despair goes away. We are all a part of this great dying, and we are all trying to avoid suffering inside systems vastly larger than ourselves. I see him in this place over and over and over again and I meet him there every time.
