About the work
Our world is delivered to us through the internet and GPS. ' Spoofnet' engages that idea by evoking the interface we experience, but reflecting a world that is ambiguous, at best, and deliberately misleading at worst.This is now our shared 'Space' !
I came across the term 'GPS Spoofing' in connection to electronic warfare and began to wonder what happens if my phone or car were spoofed, and how quickly would I notice. What if I didn't notice? Its not just the internet, maps based on the mercator projection have spoofed us about the size and power of countries bfor hundreds of years, and the UN just voted to change the spoof.
I work with digital collage, using Procreate on iPad realised by printing on paper. I create and assemble many layers of imagery.

Collection and delivery
This work is on show at The J, Noosa, until the exhibition closes on 29 October. Works bought during the exhibition stay on the wall until then, and we'll be in touch after purchase to arrange collection or delivery.
