About the work
My family holidays at K'gari most Easter long weekends. I captured these boys trying to all stand up on a paddle board at the same time. I have sons of my own and these obviously close friends (or brothers) spent a long time trying to achieve their goal together. They got there eventually, not without some frustration - with each other and the waves. My aim was to capture human collaboration to achieve a common goal, and of course remind us of the beauty surrounding us every day.

This work is on show at The J, Noosa, until the exhibition closes on 29 October. Works bought during the exhibition stay on the wall until then, and we'll be in touch after purchase to arrange collection or delivery.
