About the work
‘Sunflower’ explores the tiring and consuming concept of love and lust. A visual representation of the feeling one gets when they’re met with the love of their life, or purely of a soul, a person that brings both joy and heartbreak because loving them aches the heart. The pair of sunflowers visually symbolize sprouting love. The transformation of one’s expression when this person is found.
